In the UK, it’s ironic that this problem mainly exists on the social scene (weddings, engagements, etc) in contrast to the office environment. Such that when planning your own event have to factor in people with the ‘African time’ mentality. This prolongs event schedules unnecessarily ruining peoples plan it’s really something we have to purge from our systems or we’ll never be free from it – on domestic or foreign soil.

I think this is a great starting point.

i av always wished that people wouldbe conscious of other peoples time. i do all my bests at all times to ensure i don`t waste other peoples time but often am disgusted because am not met with the same level of courtesy.there are times that i`ve felt a strong urge to join the others but i guess with wat tinuke has written i will contineu my way and pray other people realise the embarrasment i,and even they feel each time their time is wasted.
