Leadership and Communication

  1. Treat everyone you meet with respect and fairness, greet people with a smile.
  2. Introduce yourself to people you are meeting for the first time, tell them what you do and ask them what they do too.
  3. Actively listen to what the person with whom you are having a conversation is saying. Do not concentrate on how to respond.
  4. Genuinely engage with people, it shows through when you are a people lover.
  5. Speak clearly and with confidence.
  6. Be clear and concise when you are talking, never beat about the bush. Avoid the temptation of trying to impress.
  7. Dress well, not outrageously. For business, a conservative look is safer.
  8. Never be rude to anyone even when they are rude to you. Avoid the lure of sarcasm; it’s a symptom of pride.
  9. Do not use the ‘f,’ ‘p,’ ‘s’ or any other four letter words. These are swear words and they are totally despicable.
  10. Keep and nurture your friends.
